Use the sign-in method you originally linked
If your app offers several methods, choose the one associated with the existing account. A phone-based account and another provider-based sign-in can represent different identities even when used on the same device.
Use only the controls actually shown by your verified app or provider channel. This guide does not establish which authentication methods a particular APK offers.
Work through the login checks
- Check the app identity
Compare the installed package and publisher channel. If you changed APK sources, confirm that you are still using the intended app.
- Read the complete error
Distinguish an incorrect method, a connectivity problem, a code-delivery issue and an account restriction. Record the message before retrying.
- Use the linked account details
If a phone method is offered, check the registered number and country code. If another sign-in provider is offered, choose the linked identity.
- Follow the provider’s next step
Use its own recovery or support process when the issue is account-specific. Keep passwords and one-time codes within the verified sign-in flow.
Before registering again
A new registration is not necessarily a route back to an existing account. Preserve the current session, if any, and confirm the original method before creating another identity.
If a code has not arrived, use the OTP guide. If you lost the registered method, use recovery guidance rather than repeatedly changing APKs.
If the app cannot reach the sign-in screen
Check connection stability, device updates and the publisher’s supported release. Record whether the app closes, freezes or displays a specific service message. App troubleshooting handles these conditions separately from account credentials.
